Description: Mattie Ross is 14-years-old when Tom Chaney shoots her father down and robs him of his life. The girl seeks out marshal Rooster Cogburn and hires him to help her track down Chaney, who has taken up with Lucky Ned Pepper and his gang. A tenacious Texas Ranger called LeBoeuf, who has been on Chaney's trail for months, joins the hunting party. "I know Chaney," he tells Mattie, "it is at least a two-man job taking him alive."
